Iman’s Vogue Wedding

Iman and Matthew’s wedding in Portugal was an unforgettable one, not only for me, but for all the vendors involved in bringing this two-day event to life

I spent a few days with Iman, between trials and the different wedding events, so by the time I left on the final day, I was genuinely sad to go, and Iman and her sister even wanted me to stay for the party.

Iman’s Persian heritage made this wedding especially meaningful and interesting, full of thoughtful details chosen by her and her mother alongside their planner, Sofia Nascimento, from Sofia Nascimento Studios. There’s a level of detail in this kind of celebration that I truly appreciate: everything has a meaning and a place, from poems to objects that represent something unique to the couple and their cultures.

Iman’s beauty look was the perfect embodiment of “less is more.” The makeup was minimal, enhancing her golden, glowing skin with soft cream blush and subtle highlighter, while the hair was sleek with gentle movement at the ends. The Danielle Frankel dress she wore couldn’t have suited her more — flowy and flirty, with soft layers of fabric that seemed to move with her.
